During this lab session, we were told to evaluate a website which we used to get our information on our dream holiday. So firstly i would evaluate the website that i have chosen which is Prime Travel PTE LTD.



Purpose

Their aims is to be a reputable provider of travel products & services, offering a comprehensive range of innovative, quality, professional & personalized services that are unparalleled and exceed customer expectations.



Coverage

The website provides us with the available tour of japan, the prices of the airbus fare, packages and many other useful information that users will need. There are also links to other websites which describe to us what the japan’s city will be like and what things to do there and many other information.

There are also links to other important or related site to tours. For example the flights available, time and cost and more.

From what I can obtain, this website is giving accurate information from factual based. References are stated clearly and there are no errors in the site itself.




Currency

Is the information up-to-date? Is it well-maintained?

The tours are constantly updated and promotions are being updated at the right side of its home page. Website is being maintained professionally.



Accessibility

Is the site easily accessible? Does it require registration and log-ins? Are all the information accessible for FREE?

Site is easily accessible and does not require log in and registration if it is only for viewing purpose. But if the user wants to book a tour, he/she must fill in the booking form via online.



Presentation and Arrangement

Information is not very neatly arranged as I have some difficulty trying to find some pages and navigating to some. The navigation bar is a bit too small and users might over look it.

Some of the fonts are too small or not clearly visible to the eye. As for the font colors, I think it is suitable and soothing. However links are over the page and makes it difficult for users to find the correct link.



Usability

On contrary, the website is considered an average website that fulfills most users’ needs. There might be some difficulty for user to navigate due to the not very well done design of the page.



Overall

Information and details is neat. As for the design and layout of the website, I think it would need some changes to make the website more user friendly and more presentable
